What moves us

Faber-Castell moves people to release their creative skills. Family-owned for nine generations, Faber-Castell is a global player in the production and marketing of high-quality writing and drawing instruments. Our Social Responsibility

In March 2000, Faber-Castell and the IG-Metall signed the Faber-Castell Social Charter. With it, Faber-Castell voluntarily undertakes to ensure the employment and working conditions recommended by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in all companies of the group. Faber-Castell has always proven a high social commitment: Since the middle of the 19th century, social institutions were created for employees and relatives, including one of the first company health insurance companies and one of the first kindergartens in Germany.

The coloured pencils in the Black Edition contain 12 pencils in a metal case with a lead thickness of 3.3 mm.
The super-soft lead creates impressive effects, even on dark or coloured paper.
The ergonomic triangular shape offers better grip and comfort.
Shatterproof lead thanks to special bonding.
The shaft of the pencils is made of lacquered black wood and measures 4 x 175 mm.
