Fine or flat drawing, dry or wet? The good news for passionate entry-level and hobby artists: The new Goldfaber Aqua Dual Marker makes everything possible.

While the thin, metal-clad fineliner tip with a line width of 0.4 mm is suitable for details, contours, fine lines and lettering, the thick brush tip is ideal for flat painting and drawing.

Techniques

glaze

Glazes add depth to an image layer by layer. Each layer of paint must dry before applying the next colour.

The layers of paint allow the colours underneath to shine through and blend visually with them. For very fine, light glazes with many layers, it is recommended to dissolve the colour on a separate paper.

Create plain colour gradients

For the course of a single colour from light to dark, hold the pen tip briefly under running water. During subsequent painting, the colour becomes stronger and stronger thanks to the flowing ink and a continuous gradient is created.

Very important: The Goldfaber Aqua Dual Marker should be cleaned again and again after use.

Wet on dry

Whether beginner or advanced, watercolouring is incredibly diverse, brings out unique pieces and uses the classic techniques of watercolour painting.

When wet on dry, wet paint is applied to dry paper. This creates relatively exact edges.

Two Tone

If you apply the ink of a darker colour to one side of the brush tip of a lighter pen, a two-tone stroke is created when painting. A great effect for unusual lettering.

The ingenious thing about the marker tips is that you get them completely clean by wiping them off a paper or cloth or by washing them out again and again. Even black as a second colour can be removed from a bright pen tip.

Screw on, fill with water, start painting! Very suitable for use in combination with watercolour pencils and water-soluble paints. Suitable for glaze, wet-on-wet and dry brush technique (granulation). Ideal for urban sketching.

Click&Go Water Cup

The practical folding mechanism of the Click&Go water cup allows space-saving storage in the bag. The wavy edge at the top is used for safe storage of the brush. Not suitable for solvents (e.g. turpentine).

Graphite Aquarelle Artist Pencil

Highest quality water-soluble pencils. Ideal for classic watercolour painting, pre-drawings and mixed media work. A great addition to all water-soluble drawing media.
