The new generation of scientific calculators

The Classwiz series offers a new high-resolution LCD display with 192 × 63 pixels, four times as high resolution as the well-known displays of the FX-DE Plus series. In addition, the computers have new hardware with a four-times faster processor (compared to the FX-DE Plus series) and a doubled memory.

Casio presents the latest models in the ClassWiz series with the technically scientific calculators FX-85DE X and FX-82DE X. In addition to a high-resolution LCD display, the calculators have the innovative QR code ¹ function and value tables with 2 functions.

Functions:

Display

The good resolution increases clarity in all areas. This allows you to display an icon menu instead of the classic text menu. Furthermore, almost eliminates the need for previous use of abbreviations. A German menu guide is integrated.

Natural representation

With the natural display, maths is easier than ever. The rethinking of different forms of presentation is no longer necessary, because the expressions such as in the maths book, blackboard writing, booklet or even as on the PC.

Value table.

Value charts can now be output for 2 functions. New editing options improve working with value charts. This means that more values can now be manually added and added or additional values can be automatically created at the touch of a button.

Clear variables.

Up to 9 variables can be easily stored and clearly displayed. The variables can be recalled again and can be used for further calculations.

QR code function.

Display contents

The newly available QR code function allows you to visualise results from the technical scientific calculator with your smartphone or tablet.
