Certified with EU Ecolabel

The EU Flower is the environmental label of the European Union and stands for quality and environmental protection alike. In order to maintain the EU Ecolabel, the manufacturers must comply with strict guidelines. As raw materials, for example, only wood fibres from sustainably managed forests.

ECF (elementary chlorine-free)

In the ECF process, the fibres are bleached without elemental chlorine, but predominantly with chlorine dioxide. ECF bleached paper can therefore be referred to as low chlorine. This process prevents the release of toxic dioxins. Using modern production methods, the environmental impact in the ECF process is hardly different from that of TCF balancing. Therefore, ECF as well as TCF in the EU is recognised as the best available technology (Best Available Technology).

Resistant to ageing in accordance with DIN ISO 9706

The DIN ISO 9706 is the international pendant to the German DIN standard 6738. The DIN standard 6738 defines the life of papers mechanically and physically, i.e. the decrease of the strength of the paper. It can be used on wood-based, wood-free and old paper-based paper.
