10 ink cartridges for use with all Platinum fountain pens. Fountain pens dry out if not used regularly. It is recommended to wash the fountain pen at least four times a year if it has not been used for a long time. When cleaning properly, please note the following: first remove the ink cartridge. Then the spring, filling mechanism and ink feed are rinsed under cold water. Excess water should be shaken out and dry the feather with a clean, linen-free cloth. Now the fountain pen is ready to use again. Keep in mind that the ink gradually darkens as it must first displace the water in the nib. If this is a problem, the attachment can be washed out and laid out at night to dry completely. The rest of the fountain pens must be placed in a glass with the nib downwards. At the bottom should be a piece of paper to catch the remaining water. Tip: The process described above should be performed every time you change the ink or manufacturer. Otherwise, the rest of the old ink will mix with the new one and form a rather unpleasantly thick substance that is not suitable for writing.
